The seventh installment of the Affinity series brings together three acts for the first time and presents a mini-compilation that oscillates between dub-inspired atmospheres, minimalist rhythms, and melodic depth.
Arsène Martinet, known for his minimalist, groove-oriented approach to sound design, collaborates with Michal Basar to create a subtly driving and detailed sound palette. The ensemble is complemented by Stuttgart-based artist Nils Edte, whose organic deep techno and ambient textures lend the release an introspective quality. A Ras, the side project of Spanish producer Javier Marimon, expands the project with a more experimental touch, oscillating between abstract electronics and warm dub chords.
Together, these contributions result in a sequence that feels like a natural flow. Whether as a warm-up in the club or for listening at home, this EP fits seamlessly into the spirit of the Affinity series.
